Hoichoi EA

Post by joancb »

Hello Everybody,

Here is a little simple EA inspired in the Engulfing EA.
At a desired Server Time it opens two pending orders one BL and one SL x Buffer pips over the max and x Buffer pips below the min of the previous closed candle. The stop for the Buy PO is set at the min of the bar and the stop for the Sell PO is set at the max.
If the Stop gets triggered the remaining pending order is deleted and a new PO is opened with a double amount of Lots. (this happens only one time).
Then the profit...If the open order reach the desired x Proffit USD it closes and deletes every order and waits till the next desired Server time to open a new round of orders.

It is made to work on different pairs at the same time. To avoid Trade Context is busy errors you must set different minutes for each pair. (one minute difference is enough)

Here are two links to two myfxbook accounts, one 1h TF and the other 4h TF, on the 6 major currency pairs, start server hour 10 GMT:

I hope that it will be profitable, you like it and you push it further to the exponential limit :D

Cheers!

Thank you for your kind words Alpen! It is very encouraging!!

There's still a bug that appears when traded live, but not when backtesting: when the Bid is higher then the maximum of the previous candle or lower than the min of the previous candle, it doesn't open a Market Order.

Feel free to put your hands in it :D

Have all a great 2012!!

Great! let's see how it behaves in the long term...

Updated post #1, I think now it works with every possible condition, if not let me know please, also added two new myfxbook accounts.

Maybe a trailing stop could be added...

Hi joancb,
first of all, thank you very much for posting your EA's!

1. Where exactly do we have to set different minutes for each pair, because I did not find this setting inside the EA?

2. Do we have to find out our broker server time settings in GMT?
Lets say my broker has GMT -5, then I have to use GMT 5 for server-hour inside the EA?

TIAFUA!

Hi Volker,

you're welcome,

1. there's a input parameter when you attach the EA to a chart which is called Server_Minute, can you see it?
2.Yes, GMT+5

Cheers!
