- Most Forex traders lose all their money.
- Using the robot posted here in trading Forex does not guarantee success.
- Trading this robot could lead to serious financial loss.
- Trading this robot without understanding its underlying trading strategies guarantees traders will lose their money.
- This is not a set-and-forget ea; there is no such thing and anyone who tries to claim there is, is either stupid or lying. This ea requires frequent manual intervention.
- At best, a trading robot is only 90% as good as the manual strategy it trades. At best. At worst, it can be much less effective. If the strategy is rubbish, so is the robot.
- To trade this robot, you have to understand:
- How to use EA's. Remember to set IsGlobalPrimeOrECNCriminal to 'true' if your crim insists on two-stage order sending.
- Fractals - found in your Indicators window.
This is another take on BASA. Read about BASA at http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... f=5&t=2759 Especially, read the User Guide.
The only difference between BASA BASAF is in the method of taking the Main Trade (there are no Re-entry trades). BASAF uses Fractals trigger the Main Trade:
- in an uptrend, BASAF takes a buy after the market has fallen to the relevant previous low.
- in a downtrend, BASAF takes a sell after the market has risen to the relevant previous high.
- NoOfFractals: by default, BASAF uses the highest of the previous two and lowest of the previous two fractals. This allows you to be flexible when nearby fractals look unpromising.
- FractalsTimeFrame: the default of zero means 'current chart time frame'. This allows you to use fractals from a different tf should you wish to.
An uptrend is when the 60 MA > 240 MA. A downtrend is when the 60 < the 240. At the moment, the bot can take a buy when the market has retraced below the 240 to reach the fractal; vice-versa for a sell. We may need a filter to deal with this - let's see.
You will see that Andy's MA stacking applies only to stack trades.
Have fun.
