This one should be good for a laugh if nothing else.
When GBPJPY deviates more than -0.25% from its previous days close then we.......
- BUY GBPJPY
- SELL CHFJPY
- SELL GBPUSD
- SELL USDCHF
When GBPJPY deviates more than +0.25% from its previous days close then we.......
- SELL GBPJPY
- BUY CHFJPY
- BUY GBPUSD
- BUY USDCHF
The lot size for GBPJPY and GBPUSD are the same but CHFJPY and USDCHF are different. Also, some of you will notice that this combination of symbols is perfectly aligned by 2 GBP, 2 USD, 2 JPY and 2 CHF trades. Big clue there!!!!
You will need to use a Broker which supports fractional lot sizes to get the values as near correct as possible. This means the minimum lot size you should use is 0.10 and your broker needs to support a lotstep of 0.01.

PS. I havent had the chance to test this yet so there could well be coding errors.

Re: Risk4Profit
Interesting. But how is this supposed to work, at least theoretically?
If you had (in theory)
a) execution of all trades at once
b) perfect lot-size balancing
wouldn't it be looking for 4-way riskless arbitrage, which I imagine is impossible in a retail crim?
How exactly is it supposed to make a profit?

1. Yes all trades MUST happen at same timembkennel wrote:Interesting. But how is this supposed to work, at least theoretically?

2. Yes thats why you need fractional lots above 0.10
It will make an overall profit if 3 of the 4 breakout against the neutral hedge. This happens when the market is in a non-normal state.
Doesnt happen that often granted but it is possible even with a retail criminal. I tried it on Friday and the overall profit of the trades was + 0.29%. However the key is knowing when to close the trades out before they swing back into normal hedge.
The good thing about this is if the market acts normally then your DD will just fluctuate in a range, so to some extent you always know your maximum risk.
Also, we are not just opening them willy nilly. We are waiting until GBPJPY deviates +/- from its previous days close.

Re: Risk4Profit
Yes. Only put the EA on GBPJPY. It will open all 4 trades when GBPJPY deviates.alex_forex wrote:Hello Scoobs,
