jivadragon-Taiyakixz

Post by jiva34 »

Some time ago Taiyakixz fromff coded this. Based on a close above a channel ema hi or below the channel ema low.
It is a fairly simple strategy, but as things progressed the ea ended up getting lots of indis added (which do not really help much as far as I can see.
Just setting a decent target and stop seems to put it into profit.
15 minute EURUSD, 55 ema channel, both positions set exactly the same, 50 stop, 40 tgt, trailing stop 20.
The stop is fixed for both positions until position 1 hits the target, then the stop starts to trail.
(There are a lot indis on the thing, just keep em set to false, unless you have time to play).

after looking more closely at that setting, it didn't hold up very well.

I agree.
I have a very good long term strategy and it is very very simple. and works very nicely
I sure would like to find a scalper that performed consistently...
They work for a little while and the strategies break down.
I find it odd since you would think on a 1 minute chart market conditions wouldn't change all that much.

Attempting to back test this resulted in 100GB of error logs and a blue screen.

I know back testing can be misleading, but it looks worthy of a forward test....
